**Thursday, May 4th is National Day of Prayer**      We are making you aware of three locations where you can go to pray      for our nation with other brothers and sisters in Christ.        -- Downtown Willoughby Gazebo @ Noon        -- Calvary Assembly, 28870 Chardon Road, Willoughby Hills 44092            6:30 PM - 8:00 PM         -- Veteran's Park - Painesville Square, 928 S. Park Place, Painesville 44077               6:30 PM - 8:00 PM   Bring a lawn chair.           (In the event of bad weather, they will meet at Painesville United Methodist    Church on the square.)

Men, come join us as we meet to build one another up and go deeper into the Word of God. Brothers, this is a great opportunity to fellowship with your brothers in Christ while growing in a deeper and more intimate relationship with Christ.

We will be gathering at the Cloonan residence, 8269 Emerald Glen Court, Kirtland for our Worship/Baptismal Service at 11:00 AM, followed immediately by food, fellowship, and fun!  Please contact the church office, if you desire to be baptized. Church is providing hot dogs, hamburgers, buns, paper products, and condiments. Please bring a side dish or dessert and your own beverage/drinks.

CCC will be joining with other Christian churches for a morning of worship and the Word and Communion as we gather at Chardon Square. There will not be a service at CCC that morning. Come and be a part of this special time of worship with your brothers and sisters in Christ and be a witness to the community.

Living by the Book - The Art and Science of Reading the Bible by Dr. Howard Hendricks Professor Hendricks taught at the Dallas Theological Seminary for sixty years and has ministered in over 80 countries. We are offering a class using the above-mentioned book. We will be meeting on the alternating Wednesdays. We will meet at CCC in the Lower Level at 12:30 PM for those interested in learning how to observe, interpret, and apply Scriptures. Pastor Greg and Karen will be teaching and facilitating the class. Please notify the church office if you plan on participating. Those desiring to attend must purchase the workbook in advance.  The book of the same title may also be helpful but not necessary to attend the class.
